What is Voctale?
Voctale is a platform for interactive audiobooks, podcasts and audio stories where the listener becomes the protagonist. Born from the idea that audio deserves the same creative freedom as video games, Voctale empowers anyone – independent authors, narrators, podcasters – to create, publish and share their stories. No barriers, no middlemen.

How it all started
The idea for Voctale was born in 2025, from a simple observation: independent audiobook authors don't have a platform that truly empowers them. Too many obstacles, too many middlemen, too little creative freedom. And as fans of Life is Strange, it seemed like an obvious idea: why not create a platform where audio stories can be interactive, where the listener chooses the path? Development started in late 2025, and the first version will launch in 2026.

Voctale is a project by Itamde, an independent creative studio based near Grenoble, France. Itamde brings to life digital and cultural projects: websites, e-commerce, video games, books and audiovisual productions. Every project is tailor-made, with care for design and content. Voctale is the natural evolution of this vision: bringing together technology, storytelling and creativity in a platform accessible to all.
