Refund Policy

1. General principles

At Voctale, your satisfaction matters. You can request a refund under the following conditions.

2. Individual audiobooks

Refund window: 30 days from purchase date.

Conditions:

• You have not listened to more than 50% of the total duration
• No promo code was used at purchase (or partial refund applies)
• The request is submitted via /my-purchases → "Request refund" button

Automatic refund within 1-5 business days to the original payment method (Stripe, PayPal, or wallet credit depending on the initial purchase).

3. Used subscription credits

If you redeemed a subscription credit for an audiobook and have not exceeded 50% listening, we can return the credit to your account (valid for any other book). The book is removed from your library.

4. Monthly subscriptions

You may cancel at any time via /subscriptions. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current period; you keep access until then. No pro-rata refund for the started period.

5. Annual subscriptions

Annual subscriptions are not eligible for automatic self-service refund. Email us at contact@voctale.com — each request is reviewed individually. Pro-rata refund possible if less than 3 months have elapsed and no more than 2 credits have been redeemed.

6. Gift cards

Gift cards are non-refundable once the code is generated. If not activated within 24 months, the amount returns to the purchaser.

7. Fraud or error cases

For fraudulent purchases (stolen card, identity theft), contact us immediately at contact@voctale.com. Refunds are not subject to the 30-day rule in these cases.

8. Process

1. You submit a request from /my-purchases (or via email for annual subscriptions)
2. Our team reviews within 3 business days
3. If accepted, the refund is initiated automatically via Stripe or PayPal
4. You receive email confirmation
5. Funds return to your account within 1-5 business days

9. Extrajudicial dispute resolution

In case of disagreement, you may use the European online dispute resolution platform (ODR) or a consumer mediator.
